ArrowXL, the UK’s largest and longest established two-person home delivery specialist, has revealed its new Carrier Management Platform, designed to deliver cost efficiencies and increased flexibility for their third-party logistics (3PL) clients.
The ArrowXL Carrier Management Platform will allow 3PL’s to interface with a full range of logistic providers from one-person parcel carriers to larger pallet delivery companies, allowing them to choose a delivery service on a parcel by parcel basis.
This new technology is part of ArrowXL’s business strategy to provide a total logistics solution combining an industry leading delivery service and state-of-the-art warehousing facilities. The logistics expert manages a number of strategically located hubs across the UK with over 30,000 sqft of bespoke storage space. By consolidating home delivery and warehousing, ArrowXL can offer pick, pack and order fulfilment under one roof saving time and money for their clients, and reducing carbon emissions with fewer miles travelled.
Craig Kavanagh Sales Director at ArrowXL said: “Having one logistics partner to cater for a full range of storage and delivery options has become a key requirement for businesses choosing a 3PL partner. With the introduction of our new platform we have greater control over communication with a vast range of parcel and pallet carriers giving our clients increased visibility across multiple delivery providers.”
“This new platform will streamline the delivery process with real-time tracking and intelligent automation. As a UKWA award winning supplier we understand that our clients are looking for scalability to meet their evolving business needs. The investment in this technology is a testament to our dedication to staying at the forefront of innovation in the logistics industry, and in delivering an exceptional service for our clients and customers.”
