Combilift: tough solutions for handling, storage and logistics
Open Air Stand: FG 704/2 and Hall B4 Stand 430
If you need to lift, move and store pallets, long loads, containers or oversized products – and you want to do this safely and productively whilst saving space too, then make sure to visit Combilift’s two stands at this year’s transport logistic show. The exhibits in Hall 4 and in the open air area illustrate the extensive range of materials handling solutions that this specialist manufacturer has to offer. These include pedestrian stackers, articulated trucks for narrow aisle operation, multidirectional forklifts and straddle carriers and mobile gantries.
Centrepiece on the outdoor stand will be the impressive Combi-SC Straddle Carrier, one of Combilift’s largest products, available with lift capacities of 100 tonnes. A major advantage is its much lighter unladen weight compared to other pieces of heavy handling equipment. This enables operation on poor and semi-rough terrain, avoiding the need for costly investment on ground improvement. Further benefits are low fuel consumption, 3-wheel manoeuvrability and all round operator visibility for models fitted with a driver’s cab (remote control is also an option). Customised to individual requirements, the SC is not just for containers but is ideal for oversized and potentially problematic loads such as steel, concrete, modular buildings and also for the recycling sector.
At the other end of the size spectrum Combilift continues to expand its range of pedestrian operated trucks. The Combi-CS on show is a counterbalance stacker, with capacities from 1,000 kg to 1,500 kg that will work in narrow aisles. It features the unique patented multi-position tiller arm which ensures excellent visibility for the operator and a very safe working environment for other personnel.
Visitors can look forward to live demos of these exhibits as well as the Aisle Master articulated trucks, to see at first hand how Combilift can transform handling and storage procedures for the better.
