Ctrack has completed the rebrand of Inseego’s international telematics business, which it acquired at the end of last year as part of a strategy to expand in key global markets. The company will now look to accelerate growth within the UK, underpinned by the rollout of its AI-enhanced fleet software platform, Crystal.
“We are now part of a global technology business that is dedicated to fleet and video telematics with industry-leading solutions and unrivalled experience in the marketplace,” explains Steve Thomas, Managing Director of Ctrack UK. “This means we are well-placed to continue the annual growth we have achieved for the past five years and meet the changing telematics needs of our fleet customers.”
Ctrack UK will have access to a broader range of telematics software and hardware options, offering greater levels of functionality, connectivity and analysis. Its range of AI camera solutions is already fully integrated with the Crystal platform, which will be central to the company’s future success, having seen camera subscriptions double in the past 12 months.
The Crystal system is also set to transform how customers manage and report on fleet performance, driver behaviour and asset utilisation. With AI-enhanced capabilities, it will deliver advanced levels of real-time optimisation, automated communications and predictive analytics. In particular, this will enable Ctrack UK to further develop its comprehensive EV reporting package that was launched last year to simplify the transition to and operation of electric vehicles.
“Ctrack is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, making it one of the most established telematics and fleet technology businesses worldwide. We are excited to be part of the next phase of their journey and take advantage of their proven expertise and portfolio of advanced solutions. Moving forward, we will benefit from greater investment in product development and our UK infrastructure,” adds Thomas.
