International warehouse management systems (WMS) specialist Indigo Software today announced a new partnership with Pivot One, a leading supply chain consultancy solutions company based in Hong Kong.
The supply chain and logistics market in Hong Kong is currently undergoing a number of changes that include: increased internet penetration rates, expansion of online grocery, omni-channel retailing, the integration of technology into logistics and warehousing, multi-storey logistics developments, the evolution of last mile logistics and the rise of third-party logistics (3PL). Partnering with Pivot One will allow Indigo Software to more readily take advantage of these local market business opportunities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA) in Southern China, with its best-of-breed, Indigo WMS software solution.
Pivot One is a specialist in warehousing, last mile delivery, supply chain planning, business re-engineering, IT scrum training and agile coaching. The companies’ philosophy is “Change in the Pivot Way”, which will be an indispensable factor for companies as they transition to business in the ‘new normal’. Founded by Alan Tse, a Certified Scrum Master and Supply Chain Professional with over 20 years of experience working with international brands, Pivot One is rooted in Hong Kong with a catchment area that covers China, particularly the GBA.
“We have been looking for a suitable strategic technology partner for some time and Indigo Software is an ideal candidate, with a strong track record in the warehousing and logistics industries plus extensive vertical market expertise that our clients can greatly benefit from,” says Alan Tse, Founder and Chief Consultant, Pivot One.
“Indigo has expanded very successfully in South East Asia and now looking to take this a step further. Pivot One is a very important strategic partner for Indigo and offers us an excellent pathway to take full advantage of demand for WMS technology like ours in Hong Kong and the GBA,” says Mike Hill, CSO, Indigo Software.
