Healthcare products specialist appoints Walker
National Health Distribution (NHD) – the sole UK distributor for the Australian Thursday Plantation brand of natural health and personal care products – has outsourced management of its UK B2B supply chain to Walker Logistics.
Walker will run the account from its 250,000 sq. ft. multi user facility in Berkshire, close to Junction 14 of the M4 motorway.
Orders will be picked, packed and dispatched on a daily basis to the distribution centres of Thursday Planation’s retail partners, which include Boots, Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
William Walker, sales director of Walker Logistics, commented: “We are very pleased to be working with NHD and Thursday Plantation. We beat off competition from a number of different companies in the industry to win the business, which is tremendous testimony to the quality of our service.
“NHD sought a logistics services provider with the systems and capacity to keep pace with the impressive growth and we are delighted that the company chose us.”
