LPR obtains EcoVadis “Gold Advanced” rating
For the fifth year in succession, LPR– La Palette Rouge, the pallet pooling specialist (Division of Euro Pool Group), has been acknowledged for its ecological and socially responsible actions in the day-to-day performance of its business. With its “GOLD” rating, LPR ranks among the top 1% of companies in terms of CSR.
LPR continues to reinforce its commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the entire Supply Chain.
The CSR policy is a core component of the company’s strategy, and “all our employees strive to bring added value to our ecosystem when carrying out their daily assignments” indicates Gaël Gonzales, European SHEQ Manager.
This award acknowledges the quality of the actions implemented by LPR in terms of the environment, human resources, business ethics and responsible purchasing. Examples of the company’s initiatives include reforestation, the use of multi-modal transport (railways and gas-powered trucks), a policy of PEFC certification for the entire supply chain, and giving priority to local suppliers. In this way, LPR, the pallet-pooling specialist, actively highlights that it is possible to optimise the efficiency of the entire supply chain, while acting responsibly, notably by placing people at the centre of its business approach.
Within this context, LPR will be speaking at the “Sustain 2019” conference, organised by EcoVadis on 12 March, in order to share its experience and encourage companies to implement every type of change that has positive impacts on the environment.
