Paula’s Choice choose Walker for UK fulfilment role
Paula’s Choice – the leading brand of cosmetics and skin care products – has appointed Walker Logistics to manage the fulfilment of online orders to its rapidly growing UK client base.
Orders come gift-wrapped and Walker will pack, pack and dispatch thousands of units on behalf of Paula’s Choice each month.
A key driver behind Paula’s Choice’s decision to appoint Walker Logistics was the company’s ability to offer next-day delivery services – including over the weekend – which means that Paula’s Choice’s UK clients have the ability to receive their goods within 24 hours – even if they place an online order on a Sunday.
“The online cosmetics retail market is exceptionally competitive and Paula’s Choice realise that the efficiency of their fulfilment process plays a huge part in their ability to win business and retain customer loyalty,” says William Walker, sales director of Walker Logistics.
Prior to partnering with Walker, Paula’s Choice had fulfilled UK orders from its facility in Holland. However, concerns over possible post-Brexit supply chain difficulties as well as growing demand in the UK prompted the company to seek a UK-based fulfillment partner.
“While no one can say with any degree of certainty how Brexit will impact on the flow of goods both in to and out of the UK, by establishing a UK fulfilment hub, Paula’s Choice have been proactive and moved decisively to eliminate any potential problems from their supply chain,” says William Walker.
Walker Logistics works with a number of cosmetics products suppliers and the company has a proven track record of success within the grooming and skin-care sectors.
