WMB Logistics Supply Scania for NFL 2017 at Wembley.
A leading logistics company based in the South West has celebrated another successful partnership with the National Football League (NFL); after once again supplying a branded Scania cab for use as part of the UK tour. The NFL 2017 International Series games began at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 24th September with a matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars.
WMB Logistics – www.wmblogistics.co.uk – supplied an American-style black bonneted Scania for the UK launch of the NFL’s 2017 International Series games at Wembley Stadium, which pulled an exhibition truck for use on Sunday 24th September, and will continue to offer support during the tour as it moves from Wembley to Twickenham for October’s games.
The Scania cab was branded with NFL decals and the truck converted into an exhibition stand which fans could enter to see the Vince Lombardi Trophy. There was also a performance from the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders and a challenge for people to see how far they could throw a ball or kick a field goal.
Pictures of the WMB truck in action at Sunday’s NFL launch in London can be found here, along with a short video clip of the Scania cab being branded last week ahead of the tour.
Although specialising in bike transport, WMB Logistics services also span a range of general logistics solutions, as well as temperature-controlled haulage and warehouse storage. The deal with the NFL is by no means a new relationship either and is one of many exhibition tours that WMB has been part of for some time, including for brands like Benefit Cosmetics and Harley-Davidson.
Ashley Parker, Team Manager at WMB Logistics, said the following about supplying for the NFL tour:
“We’ve worked with the NFL for four years now and really enjoy this time of year when the tour starts. There’s a lot of excitement at our headquarters when the cab is getting branded up and ready to head out and we love being a part of such a great sporting event. Our American-style black bonneted Scania is a perfect match for the NFL, being an all-American sporting event. We’re privileged to be a part of the tour once again.”
